The strong cross-tide at the top of the course caused some problems for the Laser SB3s Although small in numbers the 707s enjoyed a day of close racing Ian Atkins ended up with a comfortable overall victory in the J- 80 class Nick & Anne Haigh's DK 46 'Dark & Steamy' was one of the few IRC 1 boats to complete the course
